La permanence
Migrants file in and out of a refugee medical center in the suburbs of Paris. Their suffering has been intensified by their journeys to France, and by the precarity of their daily lives. Within a single room, a general practitioner, aided by a psychiatrist, tries to repair their bodies and minds.—MUBI
